Abstract:

This project studies the diversity of grass grown in the Grass Garden, near the Xinxiu statue, and under the pomegranate tree on Beijing No. 166 School campus in the summer and winter. We will use DNA barcode technology and classical taxonomy to identify grass species at the molecular and macro levels, respectively. Samples will be collected in May, June, and December 2017, and January 2018 .
