Abstract:

we aim to compare the biological traits of urban and nonurban ants. We also aim to compare the biodiversity of both of our collecting sites, one being urban and the other nonurban. After we identify the species that we collect, we will analyze the common traits of each species. Our preliminary research has shown that the behavior of urban and nonurban ants differs greatly. We hypothesize that our data will reveal urban ant species to have a more combative personality and be more aggressive. We based our hypothesis on the fact that they are all in constant competition to survive in their quick-paced and ever changing environments. I
