In the Urban Barcoding Project, we aim to look for the biodiversity of invertebrates that act as bioindicators of the environment. Through the project, it is hypothesized that we will be able to find many invertebrates that are bioindicators. This is a plausible hypothesis because our research from New Jersey Wildlife Center indicates that there are diverse groups of invertebrates in New Jersey such as beetles, earthworms, ants, arachnids, pill bugs, larvae, millipedes, and snails.
