Biodiversity of Earthworms in Van Cortlandt Park

Abstract:

We will be going to Van Cortlandt Park to observe earthworm biodiversity across multiple sites within the park. Specifically, we will be investigating the presence of the invasive Jumping Worm species. In addition, we will be taking soil samples at each of the sites and analyzing them in order to see if there is a correlation between soil quality and the presence of earthworms.
