Abstract:

In this experiment, we will be finding slug samples in Van Cortlandt park with the goal of finding out more about the many different species that live there. We are also interested in observing which areas within Van Cortlandt park have more slugs, and which have fewer or none. Lastly, we are wondering which species of slugs are the most abundant in Van Cortlandt park. We plan to extract DNA from the different species we find and determine their genetic differences between them.
