Abstract:

certain semi aquatic plants are known to remove pollutants from water. In this UBP project various samples of semi-aquatic plants, are collected and grown in the lab, as their nitrates filtration properties, dissolved oxygen and pH are observed and measured.. DNA Barcoding technology is used to extract and amplify DNA from the samples to be sent for sequencing. Bioinformatics is used to ascertain the species of the samples.
