Abstract:

Dragonflies are important members of any ecosystem, partaking in the roles of both predator and prey. They are also informative indicators of environmental and ecological factors in a given habitat. To better understand how dragonflies are affected by different environmental factors, we will collect species from different locations in Van Cortlandt Park and examine the abundance and diversity of the dragonflies from each site.
