Abstract:

Our research question is will there be similar or different biodiversity indexes on the Marymount Rooftop as compared to a bigger park, such as Central Park. Our hypothesis is if there is a limited diversity on the roof in terms of plants and roof space, then there will be a less diverse range of ant species as compared to the number of ant species in Central Park, which is abundant in different plant species.
