Abstract:

This experiment aims to genetically identify selected trees that were difficult to identify using guidebooks, either due to hybridization or similar traits. We're going to amplify DNA samples and send them to be sequenced in order to determine the species identification. The results will help us fill in the gaps and create an accurate and thorough vegetation map of the Fieldston campus.
