Abstract:

This barcoding project will investigate herbal products from different sources. Samples of Ginko Biloba, Korean and American Ginseng, Devil’s Claw, St. John’s Wort, and Echincea will be tested from GNC, Whole Foods, and ethnic shops in New York City to determine if mislabeling and contamination have occurred.
