Abstract:

Tardigrades, or water bears, are a multicellular microorganisms which can thrive in almost any environment containing water. Classified under the phylum Tardigrada, water bears are generally found on plant matter. We hope to DNA barcode the species found in New York to learn about the ecology of this fascinating organism.
