Abstract:

We seek to analyze the genetic sequence of a specific gene on French Black Truffles (Tuber Melanosporum) and Chinese Black Truffles (Tuber Sinensis, Tuber Indicum and Tuber Himalayensis), to determine if there is fraud in the truffle industry. We’ll do this by examining the genetic makeup of different truffle samples.
