Abstract:

In this research project, 10 wild oysters from the Long Island Sound and 10 farm-raised oysters from the Great South Bay will be compared for genetic variation. The effects of degraded water quality and the farming process will be accounted for in the analyzing of genetics and phenotypic expression.
