Biodiversity of Barnacles on Long Island

Abstract:

Barnacles exist on marine posts and pilings making them ideal subjects, so the object of this project is to collect them and study the biodiversity of barnacles by looking at the DNA through barcoding. The study will take place on the North and South shores of Long Island.
