Abstract:
The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not regulate herbal supplements, which may result in fraudulent and potentially harmful products available in the market. Through DNA barcoding of the nuclear ITS2 marker, we will authenticate the taxonomic identity of plant species contained in herbal products sold online (from Amazon).
