Abstract:

Our project will examine the differences in biodiversity between a freshwater pond in the North Shore Wildlife Sanctuary and an agricultural field at Youngs Farm in Glen Head. We collected macroinvertebrates from each site and plan to conduct testing of the DNA to compare the organisms present at each location and then evaluate biodiversity.
