Abstract:

The intent of this experiment is to test the relatability between a few select species. By doing so, it is possible to devise which member of the Orthoptera family these cave crickets are closest to, and how closely related they are to select members. The specimens will be collected throughout western Nassau County. The phenotype will be documented, and the genotype will be investigated through DNA isolation, analysis, and comparison. This data will be used for identification and taxonomy,
