Based on prior data from previous groups it appears that water quality has improved based upon the increased number of natural insect predators like dragonflies and damselfies and lower trophic level consumers such as amphipods. This would reduce the number of disease carrying insects such as mosquitoes, which can carry Zika and West Nile Viruses.
