Abstract:

Our overall project goal was to find, collect, and identify organisms living in the Peconic River. We hypothesized that the water quality was improved from past years because there appears to be alot more diversity. Human health can be positively impacted by better water quality which means less disease transmission because of many natural insect predators such as damselflies, dobsonflies, and dragonflies
