Abstract:

We intend to use DNA Barcoding to identify the species of Moon Snail present in Cold Spring Harbor. Once identified, we would like to investigate the impact of this predatory species on bivalves in Cold Spring Harbor and to compare past studies of biodiversity to our class collection to get a better understanding of the changing biodiversity in Cold Spring Harbor.
