Abstract:

We plan to : 1. Identify different organisms collected to determine the biodiversity of the area 2. Compare the samples we collect to previous studies 3. Determine if any samples are disease causing or could eliminate beneficial organisms such as dragonflies 4. The presence of invasive organisms may have a negative impact on human health by disrupting food chains and eliminating beneficial organisms that maintain ecosystem balance and control the population density of disease carrying organisms such as mosquitoes 5. Use the sequences to identify any relationships
