Abstract:

Our group will be assigned to the Southeastern side of the space, an area where the ground is mostly made up of thick mud and a bit of dry grass. Before our collection, we researched our location on Google Earth and found that there were many boats parked along the edge of the spit. These boats are mostly parked near rocks in relatively shallow salt-water, where they can easily take up species of organisms such as barnacles, algae, snails, and mussels, and transport them to new locations where they can compete with the native species and therefore jeopardize the stability of the ecosystems are introduced into.
