Abstract:

Our goal is to overlook any changes in the species of ants in a wooded and bushy area throughout different months of the year. That is why we chose a nature trail even though it has frequent activity. It is a good natural area to find ants. We will locate a spot on the nature trail to collect all of our ants throughout the months. Since ants are a big part of maintaining biodiversity in environments like this, it will be easy to find lots of ants. Each month we will have to collect the same amount of ants so our data is accurate. Every time we collect ants it will have to be very similar but have one big difference. The big difference in our research will be that we will collect ants in different months so we will see the differences at different times.
