Abstract:

Abstract: We are Nathalie Alvarez and Mason Peretson from Walt Whitman Highschool and our project is to identify types of zooxanthellae produced by corals and figure out a use for them in the outside world.We plan on using DNA barcoding protocol to isolate and identify the species and relation of zooxanthellae. We would then use the DNA subway to analyze the DNA sequencing data to then determine the species of zooxanthellae and the relation between them.
