Abstract:
The slope of a pond bank can impact the type of species that live on each bank. Leech species will be collected on two steep slopes and two shallow slopes of a freshwater pond on the Shoreham-Wading River high school campus. Biodiversity is expected to be higher on the shallow slopes.
