Abstract:

Biodiversity is important when it comes to Insect population. The reason why there is a great decline in insect population is because many ecosystem services depend on diverse insect communities. If the diversity and biomass of insects and other arthropods decline then it will lead to the loss of essential services to humans. The continuing decline in the diversity and biomass of insects and other arthropods has caused great concern not only among scientists. (Gossner, et al., 2023) This shows how biodiversity and insect population is important not just for humans but also for the rest of the world.
