Abstract:

The substantial taxonomic difficulties in the Theraphosidae family are the driving force behind this study. There is what some taxonomists have referred to as a "nomenclatural and taxonomic nightmare" as a result of the inadequacy of traditional physical appearance-based classification for tarantulas. For species delimitation, DNA barcoding will offer a more dependable and impartial approach. DNA barcoding can differentiate between various morphotypes or regional variations that might be confusing, as well as make clear the links between closely related species, even those with conservative morphology.
