Abstract:

The goal of the experiment is to accurately recognize any difference in biodiversity of ants between public and private areas on Long Island. As well as the specific ant species that appear in each area under the circumstance that diversity is present. The first step is collecting the specimens, which was completed thanks to the Cold Spring Harbor Labs who used malaise traps to capture the specimens.
