Abstract:

Invasive species can be extremely detrimental to an environment. The different types of clam species found in the study area will be barcoded. These species DNA will be researched to see if there are any variations in the different species in various locations on the North and South Shores. The purpose of the different locations is to measure variations between the species as they adapt to different environments with the same general climate and to widen the result area on Long Island.
