Abstract:

The purpose of this study is to compare the invertebrate biodiversity between an NYC green roof and its adjacent ground gardens in a local park. This will be done by collecting invertebrates from each location and using DNA barcoding, taxonomic identification, and statistical analyses to determine the abundance and diversity of the organisms found.
