Updated as of 2024! Students will apply FIRST, then selected students will be invited to interview. After interviews, accepted students will be required to attend training before being paired with a scientist mentor. The first round of group interviews will be held in-person July 6-10. Interested students must be available to attend an in-person interview during one of those days. The second round of interviews will be held on Zoom during the week of July 27-31; interested students must also be available for a short interview on one of those dates. Accepted students will be required to attend full day training from August 24-August 28 AND August 31-September 4 at the DNALC NYC in Downtown Brooklyn.

Application submission for the 2026–27 academic is now open and will close on May 26, 2026. Applicants will be notified on or before June 18, 2026 regarding whether they are selected for an interview.
