New as of 2024! Students will apply FIRST, then selected students will be invited to interview. After interviews, accepted students will be required to attend training before being paired with a scientist mentor. The first round of group interviews will be held in-person July 7-11. Interested students must be available to attend an in-person interview during one of those days. The second round of interviews will be held on Zoom during the week of July 28-August 1; interested students must also be available for a short interview on one of those dates. Accepted students will be required to attend full day training from August 25-August 29 at the DNALC NYC in Downtown Brooklyn.

Application submission for the 2025-26 academic year will open April 1, 2025 and close on May 27, 2025.
Students who live in and attend school in NYC can apply on this page starting on April 1, 2025.
